Can I modify or cancel my booking?

If your stay was booked through our website, please click the «My Reservation» link in the footer of this page. After logging in with your confirmation number and email address, you can manage your booking directly. If your stay was booked through one of our partner websites (e.g. booking.com, expedia.com, etc.), any changes must be made directly on the respective platform.

Which payment methods are accepted?

We accept cash, vouchers, and all major debit and credit cards – except American Express.

Why do room rates change on the website?

Similar to airlines, we work with daily rates and prices that fluctuate depending on hotel availability and occupancy. This means that room prices can change at any time. You will always pay the price valid at the time of your booking.

During your stay

What are the opening hours of the hotel reception?

Our team is there for you every day from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you come home after 5 pm, feel free to use our online check-in.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Our guaranteed check-in time is 3 pm. If you arrive earlier, feel free to drop off your luggage and unwind in our cozy lobby, enjoy a drink at the bar, or soak up the atmosphere in our charming garden.

What time is breakfast served?

You can enjoy breakfast in our restaurant every day from 7 am to 10 am.

Is parking available at the hotel?

The hotel offers four private parking spaces, which may be reserved in advance for CHF 20.– per day, subject to availability.

Are dogs allowed?

We’d be happy to welcome your dog! There’s a charge of CHF 15.– per day for your furry companion. If you’re traveling with other pets, please let us know beforehand so we can make sure everything is arranged for you

Is there a minibar in the room?

No, but you will find a bottle of water and a sweet treat in your room.

Is there a coffee machine in the room?

Our rooms do not have a coffee machine or kettle. However, a Nespresso machine is at your disposal at the reception, and a kettle is available upon request. Of course, you can also order coffee or tea at the bar or restaurant.

How far is it to the city center?

About 100 meters. When leaving the hotel, turn right and you will immediately see the city wall and the historic Murten gate. It takes no more than 3 minutes to reach the city center.

Where to eat?

There are plenty of dining options in Murten. Start with us! Enjoy our Gastrobar or garden – grab a drink or a bite to eat. Visit Restaurant Eintracht in Murten’s picturesque old town, or soak up the sunset by the shores of Lake Murten at Camping Muntelier.

Is it possible to store luggage at the hotel?

We have a luggage room at the reception, where we can stWe have a luggage room at the reception where you can store your bags free of charge – either before check-in on your arrival day or after check-out on your departure day.

Is there room service?

We do not offer room service. However, you are welcome to bring food and drinks from the restaurant and bar to your room at any time.

Does the hotel offer a Spa or fitness room?

No, unfortunately we do not have the necessary facilities.

Is there an EV charging station?

Yes, we offer two electric car parking spaces in our underground garage. However, these will only be available after the completion of the extension, expected by July 2025.

Is secure bike storage available?

Yes, there is a lockable bike room in our underground garage. However, it will only be available after the completion of the extension, expected by July 2025.
